Payments pending under NREGA

KORAPUT: More than 40 per cent of the payments that was to be made to the labourers under NREGA programme in the district were pending for the negligence of the field level officials, Taraprasad Bahinipati, MLA, Koraput alleged in the Zilla Parishad meeting held at Koraput today. Among other issues, members attending the 26th Zilla Parishad meeting of Koraput discussed on the absenteeism of grass root level officials.
