Hunger strike over members’ arrest
KORAPUT: Saroj Kumar Padhy, State General Secretary of Samrudha Odisha sat on an indefinite hunger strike at Koraput on Wednesday protesting the alleged illegal arrest of Anantaram Mattam district president and Sk.Raj Mohammad, Block president of the party at Nandapur a few days back. The party has alleged that the two were arrested while the party workers were going in a peaceful rally to submit a memorandum on the development of the block. -Correspondent
